It has been a glorious fall here in Colorado this year. Like most of you I love fall but it's also bittersweet because it means winter is fast approaching. Soon my toes will be constantly cold and I'll be be brushing snow off my car in the wee morning hours. Saying that I'm not looking forward to that would be a understatement. So, I took a walk along the river the other day and took some pictures to remember this beautiful fall come January when I'm cold and SAD.Brooke White- Yellow

Winter depresses me as well. Of course I live in a more moderate climate than you do, so I will only be cold and wet, not usually actually freezing, but still.
My comfort is that fewer people come to the beach in the winter so we will have it more to ourselves.

We're opposites here. Houston winter is like everyone elses summers. We hole up inside during the summer 102 temperatures and then come out of hiding when the weather slides down to the 80 mark in October.
Ugh. I don't like Winter either. So much that it has almost ruined Fall for me too.
